Named Accountable GP

Please note Dr Thavapalan will be your named accountable GP. This does not prevent you from seeing any other GP in the Practice.

We have introduced ‘eConsult’ to allow patients to get medical help and advice without making an appointment.

Through this service you can:

  • self-check your symptoms and find medical guidance written by doctors 24/7
  • get administrative help (e.g. a medical certificate or letter from the surgery)
  • seek medical advice from our doctors at the surgery

Please note the following important information below:

  • This is only for patients registered with our practice
  • It is not an appropriate route to seek urgent medical help
  • It is not a bypass or shortcut for requesting routine GP appointments
  • Where a response has been requested, we aim to respond by the end of the next working with a phone call, as appropriate to your consultation
  • The eConsult tool works best for issues that we can resolve – or start to resolve – online, for example by generating a script, arranging a blood test etc. There will be some problems where the appropriate next step is for you to see or speak to a GP routinely, in which case we will advise you by email or text to make an appointment..

Shingles

If you are Aged 70-73,78 or 79and not had your Shingles Vaccination -

With patient’s needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

If you have an email address you can register for Patient Online Services. You can then book appointments and re-order your medication using your PC, tablet or smartphone. Call in at reception to register, you will need some photo ID to do this.
